The bottleneck is the strategy

Growth comes from removing the one constraint that makes everything else wait.

Young companies are excellent at producing activity. Every weakness is visible, every opportunity feels temporary, and a small team responds by moving on all of them at once. The calendar fills. The dashboard improves. The company does not necessarily move.

A system advances at the rate of its tightest constraint. If onboarding takes six weeks, more demand creates a queue. If the product works but nobody can explain it, more features create silence. Work applied anywhere else may feel productive while making the actual problem harder to see.

The constraint should be named plainly and given a season of disproportionate attention. Let it set the operating agenda, the next hire, and the number reviewed every week. When it moves, resist the urge to institutionalise the solution. Find what became the new limit.

Strategy at this stage is less a list of ambitions than a sequence of constraints. Compounding is not everything accelerating together. It is concentrated force, applied to the right point, until the shape of the whole system changes.

Bring us the idea before it is safe.

The best moment to talk to us is the moment the old answer stops being obviously right — long before the deck exists. Tell us what changed, and why you cannot stop thinking about it.
